General Notes: Husband - Jacob G. Leezer

In early life he was employed in a saw mill, later was engaged in the coal business, and subsequently was an extensive lumber dealer, retiring from that line of work in the latter part of his life and thenceforth devoting his time to the management of his property in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, he having acquired considerable real estate as the result of his years of hard toil. He resided on Fifth avenue, McKeesport, for half a century, and erected the house in which his son, Charles A., later resided, located at No. 115 Fifth avenue, about the year 1891. He was one of the organizers of the People's Bank of McKeesport, and for many years served in the various offices of president, vice-president and director. He was a Republican in politics, but never sought or held public office, and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and a member of the Knights of the Mystic Chain, organizer and treasurer of the Grand Lodge for twenty-one years, and treasurer of the Supreme Lodge.
