General Notes: Husband - David Russell


He and his wife lived for a time in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and later settled in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, on the lands later owned by the Middleton family. He was a soldier of the Revolutionary war.

He removed from Westmoreland County to Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, about the close of the 1700s, and settled on the lands later owned by the Middleton family. He lived also for a short time in Butler County.

He was born in the southeastern part of the Keystone State, and was a descendant of the New England Russells, being of Scotch-Irish derivation.
