Lester J. 'Buck' Lusher
CROSWELL - Lester J. "Buck" Lusher, 86, of 131 Elizabeth Street, died Wednesday, November 20, 1991 in Medi-Lodge of Yale.
He was born August 5, 1905 in Sterling. He married Dorothy Halcro March 31, 1929, in Pinconning. She died April 12, 1977.
Mr. Lusher was an exchange repairman with Michigan Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years, retiring in 1968. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and a former member of the Eagles.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Ramona and Arden Clarkson; a son and daughter-in-law Jon and Sharron Lusher all of Croswell; five granchildrn, Jonathan Scott Lusher, Lynn Booth, Dan, Dennis and David Clarkson; eight great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Robert Halcro of Standish; a sister-in-law Amanda Lusher of Florida.
Services are 2 p.m. Friday in the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell. Burial will be in Croswell Cemetery.
Visiting is 2 to 9 p.m. today.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.

DOROTHY J. LUSHER
Mrs. Dorothy J. Lusher, age 67, died April 12th in Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
Born November 9, 1909 in Standish the daughter of Peter and Cora Halcro. She married Lester Lusher March 31, 1929 in Pinconning. She has been a resident of Croswell about 35 years.
Survived by her husband, son Jon and daughter Ramona Clarkson, both of Croswell. A brother Robert Halcro, two sisters, Hazel Weible and Carrie Thoms all of Standish. Five grandchildren, three great granchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Pomeroy Funeral Home, Rev. Bruce George Pastor of First United Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial in Croswell Cemetery.
