General Notes: Husband - John Gregg

Bally-Arnatt, County Londonderry, Ireland

The Gregg family had emigrated from Scotland to Ireland, and an old-fashioned sword and espontoon, long in the garret of the old house on the Conodoguinet, were arms of the ancestor in the army of King William at the battle of the Boyne, July 1, 1690.

Both he and his father were killed by a party of Roman Catholics in one of the conflicts that were constantly occurring between the Orangemen and the Romanists in the north of Ireland.
