General Notes: Husband - David Gregg

He came to America from Ireland, settled in New Hampshire, and raised a large family there. The Gregg families of Salem, Massachusetts, Elmira, New York, and Indianapolis, Indiana, are his descendants.

David and his brother, Andrew Gregg, with their wives, their sister Rachel, and her husband, Solomon Walker, came to America in the same vessel, about the year 1722 [Another source: 1726]. Landing at Boston, they made their way to the Scotch-Irish settlement in Londonderry, New Hampshire, where David settled and spent the remainder of his days, rearing a large family, some of whom and their descendants achieved eminence in the business, professional and political life of that and other sections of the United States.
