General Notes: Husband - Judge William Witman


He was born at Reading, Pennsylvania, on the east side of North Fifth Street, near Walnut, where he resided all his life. His vocation was surveyor and conveyancer, which he pursued at Reading for many years. He served as an associate judge of Berks County from 1823 to 1828, dying whilst still occupying this position.
