General Notes: Husband - William Glenn

About the year 1800, the brothers, Joseph, John, James, William and Samuel Glenn, came from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and located upon lands situated mostly in the northeast corner of Clay and the southwest corner of Washington Townships of Butler County. Their father had visited this region, and purchased the land, but died just prior to the removal of his sons and widow to the property.

The brothers were settlers of 1803 and the women of the family came in 1808. [TCHBC, 572]

He was four years old when the family came to Clay Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania. In 1827, he moved to Concord Township, where he continued to reside until 1866, when he moved to Michigan for a short time, when he returned to Butler County, where he died.
