General Notes: Husband - James Scott, M.D.


In the sub­scription schools and at Marshall's academy he re­ceived a liberal education. He studied medicine, and at Ohio Medical College took his degree, after which he commenced practice at Lebanon, Warren County, Ohio. He was a very prominent and influen­tial man, and for some time represented his state in the legislature on the Republican ticket. In church con­nection he was a Presbyterian.
