Frank C. Howard
Frank C. Howard, 63, of 317 S. Pearl St. died of complications following surgery at 10 p.m. Friday at South Side Hospital.
Mr. Howard was born Aug. 28, 1894, in Ogdenburg, N.Y., a son of James H. and Anna McKinley Howard and came to Youngstown from Ogdensburg. For the last seven years he was a maintenance man at the Klaus Hardware & Appliance Co., New Springfield. He was a veteran of World War I.
Besides his wife, the former Mabel Lusher, whom he married in 1927, he leaves four stepsons, Ivan Deiley of Perrysburg, Ohio, Kenneth and Carl Deiley of Toledo and Arthur Deiley of Girard; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Ira Jarvis of Dearborn, Mich.; four brothers, Francis, William, Edward and Carl, all of Ogdensburg; two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Jenner of Ogdensburg and Mrs. James Devitt of San Bernardino, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Shriver-Allison Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Frank Howard Dies; Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. Mabel Howard, 67, of 317 S. Pearl St. died of a heart ailment at 6:30 p.m. Friday in South Side Hospital following a brief illness.
Mrs. Howard was born Jan. 14, 1892, in Franklin, Pa., and came to Youngstown 31 years ago. Her husband, Frank, died Aug. 8, 1958.
She leaves four sons, Ivan Dailey of Perryburg, Kenneth and Carl Deiley of Toledo and Arthur Deiley of Girard; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Jarvis of Lincoln Park, Mich.; a sister, Mrs. John Bell of Oil City, Pa.; and a brother, Lusher of Franklin; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Shriver-Allison North Side Funeral Home where friends may call Sunday and Monday evenings.
