Claude J. Lusher
Claude J. Lusher, 66, well-known oil field worker, died at his home, 10 Second Avenue, Bleakley Hill, at 7:30 o'clock Thursday morning following an illness of 13 weeks.
Mr. Lusher was well and favorably known throughout Venango County and had been a worker in the oil fields of the district practically all of his life. He spent his early life in Rockland Township and came to Franklin ten years ago to make his home.
He was married to Miss Laura Flowers 46 years ago. She survives, together with two daughters, Mrs. Mabel Howard, of Youngstown, O., and Mrs. John Bell, of Cranberry, and one son, Harry Lusher, of Franklin.
The body was removed to ---- Buchanan Funeral Home ------ funeral services were conducted.

Claude J. Lusher
Funeral services for Claude J. Lusher, of Bleakley Hill, were conducted Saturday afternoon in the H. L. Buchanan Funeral Home by Rev. Arthur Baker, pastor of the United Brethren in Christ Church, Franklin.
Mrs. Almeda McCleery and Mrs. Richard Young sang two of the deceased's favorite hymns, "Just Inside the Eastern Gate" and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus."
Interment was in the Graham Cemetery in Sandycreek Township, with Dale Keith, Edward Brandon, Glenn and Norman Osborne, Ira Hazlett and Thomas Sloss as pall-bearers.

Mrs. Laura J. Lusher
Mrs. Laura J. Lusher, aged 66, of 317 S. Pearl St., died at 4:45 a. m. today at her home of a heart condition, after several years' illness.
Coming from Franklin, Pa., Mrs. Lusher made her home in Youngstown three years ago with a daughter, Mrs. Frank Howard. She was born in Mingo, Pa., June 11, 1876. Besides her daughter in Youngstown, Mrs. Lusher leaves a daughter, Mrs. John Bell of Cranberry, Pa., and a son, Jack, of Franklin, Pa.
The body is at the McCauley Funeral Home, and will be taken for Franklin, Pa. for burial.

Mrs. Claude Lusher
Mrs. Laura Jane Lusher, 66, widow of Claude Lusher, died at 5 a. m. Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Howard, 317 South Pearl Avenue, Youngstown, where she had lived for the past three years.
She was born in Venango County, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flowers. Surviving besides Mrs. Howard are another daughter and a son, Mrs. John Bell, Cranberry, and Harry Lusher, Franklin.
The body will arrive in Franklin Tuesday and will be taken to the Burger Funeral Home, where services will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday. The Rev. W. Arthur Burger will officiate. Burial will be in the Graham Cemetery.

Mrs. Laura Jane Lusher
Funeral services for Mrs. Laura Jane Lusher, who died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Howard of Youngstown, O., were conducted in the Burger Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. Arthur Baker, pastor of the Victory Heights United Brethren Church.
Mrs. P. E. Cauvel and Mrs. Roscoe Farren sang the hymns "The Eastern Gate," and "Good Night and Good Morning," with piano accompaniament by Mrs. Cauvel.
Burial was in the Graham Cemetery and the pallbearers were Lawrence Seyler, Ben Kuhns, Glenn Russell, Rollin Hanniwalt, Paul Hart and Kenneth Bigelow.
