W. Monterey Man, 79, Dies in His Home
PARKER - David Bird Feltenberger, 79, died Tuesday at his residence in West Monterey.
He was a retired track foreman for the Pennsylvania Railroad.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Franklin.
He was survived by the following: two sons, Richard E., and Hollis C. of West Monterey; one daughter, Mrs. Bryan (Frieda) Logan of Linesville; four brothers, C. J., M. E., and A. C. of Franklin and L. R. of Kittanning; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Fred S. Bowser Funeral Home at Parker today and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Allen F. Maihle, pastor of the Methodist Church at West Monterey officiating.
Burial will be at the Melat Cemetery near Rockland.

Mrs. David B. Feltenberger
FRANKLIN-Funeral services in memory of Mrs. Margaret V. Feltenberger of West Monterey were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Huff Chapel by Rev. Robert H. Morrison, pastor of the Pine Hill Church of God.
Mrs. Feltenberger, wife of Davd B. Feltenberger, died Wednesday.
Mrs. Feltenberger, was born in Rockland Township on October 18, 1894 and was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Flowers O'Brien.
Surviving along with her husband, David B. Feltenberger, whom she married May 23, 1913, are two sons and a daughter, Richard E. Feltenberger and Hollis C. Feltenberger, West Monterey; and Mrs. Byron G. (Freda) Logan, Linesville; five grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Snyder, Freeport; and Mrs. Jeanette Snyder, Franklin.
Interment was made in the Melat Cemetery.
Attending the services from a distance were: David B. Feltenberger, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Feltenberger, and Hollis Feltenberger, West Monterey; and Mr. and Mrs. Byron G. Logan and daughter, Linesville.
