Hollis Feltenberger
Hollis C. Feltenberger, 62, of West Monterey, Parker RD 1, died Wednesday evening at Cleveland Clinic following an illness.
Born in Rockland Township, Venango County, on December 25, 1916, he was a son of the late David Bird and Margaret O'Brien Feltenberger
Mr. Feltenberger was affiliated with the United Methodist Church of West Monterey.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U. S. Army in the Aleutian Islands and the Pacific Theater of Operations from 1941-45.
He worked over 15 years for the former Pennsylvania Railroad and had retired in January from the maintenance department of PennDOT.
Surviving are one sister, Mrs. James (Freda) Rhodes of Harmonsburg; one brother Richard Feltenberger of West Monterey, four nephews and one niece.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm today at the H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, Wayne Street, Parker.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Saturday from the funeral home with Rev. June Lingler officiating.
Interment will follow in the Rockland Cemetery.
