General Notes: Husband - Philetus Ford

---

He was a lawyer by profession, and a man of high repute. He was a member of the Episcopal church, and the first person to be baptized in that faith in McKean County, Pennsylvania. He settled in Smethport in 1838, and was for many years justice of the peace there.
