General Notes: Husband - Robert Ekin


Originally of county Antrim, Ireland, on arrival in America he settled first in York County, Pennsylvania, coming to the Ekin farm in North Huntingdon township, Westmoreland County, about 1788, when their son William was eight years old.

He and his wife came to America from County Derry, Ireland, about the middle of the eighteenth century and settled in York County, Pennsylvania, but afterward removed to Versailles township, Allegheny County. [MAC i, 177]
