General Notes: Husband - Robert McIlvaine


The ancestor of the McIlvaine family of Lancaster and Franklin counties, Pennsylvania, he was a merchant in Philadelphia and an elder in the Third or old Pine Street Presbyterian Church, of which his brother-in-law, the Rev. George Duffield, chaplain of the Continental Congress, was pastor.
