General Notes: Husband - Daniel Sober


He was reared on his father's farm and when a young man joined the Sixty-sixth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and fought during the Civil War. Upon his return to civilian life he learned the blacksmith's trade and followed farming. He retired on account of ill health which he contracted during the war.
