General Notes: Husband - Thomas F. Davidson

---

He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1861. In 1870 he was elected judge of one of the county circuit courts of Indiana, and reelected in 1876. He was the author of several law text books, the principal one being "Davidson's Overruled Cases." A contemporary spoke of him as "one of the most popular judges who ever sat on the bench in Indiana;" the attorneys and the people alike loved him for his justice, his fearlessness and his impartiality.
