General Notes: Husband - Col. Hugh Davidson


He lived in Bedford (later Huntingdon) County, Pennsylvania, and was lieutenant-colonel of the 2nd Battalion Bedford County Militia, in 1781, and justice of the peace, in 1784. He represented the county of Huntingdon in the State Legislature, in 1787 and 1788, and was appointed an associate judge in 1791.

He was a judge of Franklin County, Pennsylvania, and held many offices in Plum township, Allegheny County, after coming there.

He served in the Revolution, and was a trader when he came to Plum township, Allegheny County.
