General Notes: Husband - Archibald Alexander

He emigrated with two of his brothers from Ireland to America about the year 1736, and settled near Norristown, on the Schuylkill, Pennsylvania. Two years afterwards he, with his son William, moved to Rockbridge County, Virginia, and were among the earliest settlers in that section, most of whom were Scotch-Irish Presbyterians.
