General Notes: Husband - William W. Irons
He was a native of Lowellville, Mahoning County, Ohio. [HBC 1888, 671]
He was educated in the old schoolhouse situated on the homestead farm, and resided there until his death. In 1857 he erected a fine dwelling house, but he continued to reside in the old home which had been built by his father, until 1859. He joined the United Presbyterian Church in his early youth, and held the office of elder the greater part of his life, being still in office at the time of his death. The church of this denomination at Monaca was organized in 1817, and Mr. Irons assisted generously in the erection of the structure.
