General Notes: Husband - W. J. Snow
He received his education in the public schools of Butler, Pennsylvania, and was always interested in the planing mill business. He began his business career at Grove City, Pennsylvania, in 1904, and three years later returned to Butler and was associated with the Purvis Company for several years. He was later with the Peoples Telephone Company for eight years. During the World War Mr. Snow volunteered for service and was sent to Camp Hancock, Georgia, with the One Hundred and Third Field Signal Battalion, Twenty-eighth Division. He served in France with the rank of corporal. After his return to Butler Mr. Snow was again associated with the local telephone company as assistant wire chief until 1922, at which time he engaged in partnership with his brother, Sidney P., as proprietors of Snow Brothers. Their business was located at 344 North Cherry Street.
He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and belonged to the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Malta.
