General Notes: Husband - James Alexander
He went to McKeesport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, with his mother, Lettice Thompson Alexander, and his sister Emily. He commenced the business of saddler and harness maker in McKeesport, in which he continued, together with keeping a hotel, for some time, until his death.
He and his wife had eight children; six were deceased before 1875.
