General Notes: Husband - Benjamin Frye
In the year 1744 he erected a large stone residence in Frederick County, Virginia, which was also frequently used by his family and neighbors as a refuge from the Indians, being known as the Frye fort. This old residence-fort was still in good state of preservation and used as a dwelling house into the twentieth century.
He and his wife had seven sons and two daughters.
