General Notes: Husband - William Curry
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and grew up on the old Curry homestead in Moon township, where he continued to live until the time of his death. He was a Republican in politics and became a prominent man in the community, serving his fellow citizens in the capacity of tax collector for many years, a part of which time he held the office for four townships at once. He and all his family were members of the Sharon Presbyterian Church, in which he was also a deacon.
