General Notes: Husband - George Mason Ferree
He was educated at Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. He worked on his father's farm and conducted a sawmill with R. B. Kindle until his father was killed. He then located on his own farm at Coraopolis, it being part of the place his grandfather, Jacob, purchased prior to 1800.
In politics, he was a republican. He and his wife were members of Forest Grove Presbyterian Church.
