General Notes: Husband - Ralph Clapp Plumer
He received his early education in the public schools. Later he attended the Edinboro (PA) Normal School and the institu-tion later known as State College, as well as private schools, being given excellent advantages. In his early manhood he engaged in the production of oil in Venango County, giving up that business after some years to enter other lines. He later held a position with the General Manifold & Printing Company in Franklin. [HVC 1919, 698]
He was connected with the Atlantic Refining Company and the Venango Mills, of Franklin, and with the General Manifold & Printing Company.
