General Notes: Husband - John McNitt
He was educated in the public schools near Siglerville, Pennsylvania, and grew to manhood at the home farm. After his marriage he purchased a farm of two hundred acres in Brown township, Mifflin County, near Reedsville, where his after life was spent. Both he and his wife were members of the East Kishacoquillas Presbyterian Church, and in political faith he was a Republican, holding several township offices.
