General Notes: Husband - Joseph Giles

He and his wife were early settlers of Washington township, Erie County, Pennsylvania, coming there in 1818, from Franklin County, Massachusetts, with an ox team, and were six weeks on the road. They located a half mile east of Edinboro. They lived there till their deaths. He was a prominent agriculturist of that township.
