General Notes: Husband - David Detar

He came to Fryburg, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, in 1860, and being learned in the trade of a machinist and wheelwright, bought the foundry property in that place. Here he manufactured threshers, plows, stoves, and general castings usual to a well-regulated foundry and machine shop.
He was a member of the Lutheran Church.
