General Notes: Husband - Ezekiel Denniston

He was a shoemaker for many years. For some time he lived in Russia, Herkimer County, New York. About 1843 he and his wife went to live with their son, Solomon Pulver. He spent his last days with his daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lovell.

His granddaughter, Mrs. Margaret (Tripp) Martin, of Blockville, New York, lived with her grandparents for several years when she was a little girl; she described him as a small, round-shouldered man with a passionate temper when roused, though warm-hearted and very generous.

He and his wife both died in Cortland County, New York. [HWC 1887, BP xxvi]

She was of Dutch de-scent.

Her granddaughter, Mrs. Margaret (Tripp) Martin, of Blockville, New York, lived with her grandparents for several years when she was a little girl; she describes her as a large, fine-looking woman, but who had very poor health.
