General Notes: Husband - Alexander Denniston
He was a native of Ireland, and immigrated to America with his parents when he was seven years of age.
In 1805 he and his brother William, moved into Mercer County, Pennsylvania, and he located in Springfield Township, where Leesburgh would later stand, and his brother located on a tract of land adjoining. In 1854 he started to Iowa and died before reaching his destination. He served in the War of 1812 under Gen. Harrison.

She died in Dubuque, IA, while on a visit to her husband's grave.
