General Notes: Husband - John Denison

---

He lived in Stonington, Connecticut, on "the farm near the mouth of Mystic River," and he was known as Captain John Denison. He was a very prominent man in Stonington.
By his marriage contract with the parents of his wife, they conveyed to John Denison and Phebe Lay the farm granted to him near the river in Stonington, which Mr. Lay had formerly bought of John Post; this deed was signed by Rev. Simon Bradstreet and "Ann Denison Jr."
