General Notes: Husband - John B. Wood

---

He grew to manhood in Pine City, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, his education being obtained in the district schools near his home. During early life he learned the carpenter's trade, which he successfully followed. He was also the owner of thirty acres of land in Elk township, Clarion County, which he placed under a high state of cultivation and continued to operate for some years.
