General Notes: Husband - Abraham Crumrine

He was born on the old family farm in West Bethlehem township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, a part of which he came to own. His education was gleaned from the meager teachings of the country schools. His boyhood, when he was not at school, was passed on the farm.
He was a leading Democrat, and one of the trusted counselors of his party, and a member of the Lutheran Church.
