General Notes: Husband - Frederick Deemer
He located on a farm in Conemaugh township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, not long after the close of the Revolutionary war, having migrated to that section on pack horses. They were often forced to retire to the block house on the McLain farm (south side of the Conemaugh), about half a mile above the site of Saltsburg.
