General Notes: Husband - Archibald J. T. Crawford

---

A well-known citizen of North Mahoning township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, he served many years as justice of the peace, and in other important positions.

He received his education in the schools of his neighborhood. He taught seven terms of school (six of them at one place) and then engaged in the business of farming and stock-dealing. He was a republican in politics and was elected justice of the peace in 1872. He was re-elected in 1877 and again in 1888. He also held other township offices and was a ruling elder in the Presbyterian church.
