General Notes: Husband - Carl E. Cronenwett
After receiving his early schooling at Delaware, Ohio, and in Butler, Pennsylvania, public schools, he attended Woodville (Ohio) Normal School. He began his business career with the Butler Savings & Trust Company when nineteen years of age and was thereafter associated with that well known banking institution, eventually serving as assistant secretary and treasurer.
He was a Democrat and was active in school work in Butler, serving as school director for twelve years. During his term of office he was an active factor in the erection of the West End and the Junior High School buildings. He held membership in St. Mark's Lutheran Church and belonged to the Rotary Club.
In addition to his chosen profession, Mr. Cronenwett was actively engaged in humanitarian work, being secretary-treasurer of the Associated Charities of Butler and president of the Butler County Humane Society. He lived at 238 West Pearl Street.
