General Notes: Husband - William Crider

Probably since the middle of the 1700s the Crider family have resided in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. About 1800, the ancestor of this line came from from Lancaster County, and located on Chatham run, some five miles below the present borough of Lock Haven, then in Northumberland County, where William Crider and his son, William, figured as wood-workers and millwrights.
