A relative of his, Thomas Wilson, came from Adams County, Pennsylvania, was an early settler of Tyrone township, Blair County.
He came to Tyrone township, Blair County, Pennsylvania, a single man, but in 1822 was married and settled in the valley on a place later occupied by his son, James H., above the Arch Spring.
