General Notes: Husband - Col. George Irwin
He was a merchant of York, Pennsylvania. He was the owner of the property on the southwest corner of Main and Beaver streets, known as Irwin's Corner, and opposite the National Hotel, in York. He was a man of considerable wealth.
He was one of the deputies from York to the Provincial Convention in Philadelphia, Jan. 23-28, 1776.
His will was probated April 1, 1812.
General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Davis
She was the eldest daughter of her father. She had two sisters and one brother.
According to records, prior to May 3, 1803, she removed with her family [from York, Pennsylvania?] to Franklinton (later Columbus), Ohio.
