He was graduated at Franklin and Marshall College in 1882. After leaving college he became local editor of the Valley Spirit, which position he held, 1893-97. He afterward served on the staff of the Philadelphia Times, and is now managing editor of the Record and Blue Ridge Zephyr, Waynesboro.
