General Notes: Husband - W. W. Davidson
Like all the children of the early settlers, he was reared in the wilderness, with very poor chances of education. But he belonged to a family that was prominently active in educational interests, and he served the people of his community for several years in the office of school director. Like others of the family, he was a Republican in politics, and both he and his wife were for many years prominently connected with the United Presbyterian Church. He was an industrious and enterprising farmer. In 1871 he erected a substantial and beautiful brick residence.
He and his wife were the parents of two sons and one daughter.
