General Notes: Husband - David McNary
He bought a farm in Hanover township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, October 25, 1783, containing 300 acres, for "75 pounds lawful money of Pennsylvania." He was accompanied there by his father James, the original founder of the McNary family, who resided with him until his death.
He is described as six feet tall, sandy in complexion and stalwart in frame.
He became an elder in Dr. Abraham Anderson's Harmon's Creek congregation.
