General Notes: Husband - John Cravener


He was a blacksmith by trade. He enlisted for service in the Civil War, September 15, 1864, and served in Company H of the One Hundred and Ninety-ninth regiment Pennsylvania volunteer infantry, and was wounded April 9, 1865. near Appomattox Court House about one hour before the surrender of General Lee.
