General Notes: Husband - Philip Cypher
He obtained his education in the schools located near his home and as soon as old enough, he went into the oil fields and worked there winter and summer for many years, advancing in the business gradually as he gained experience and also acquiring property. He owned two gas wells and sold their product to different companies having interests in that locality. He was a successful contractor for over thirteen years and was one of the youngest in the business in that section.
