General Notes: Husband - John Watson

He was a native of Ireland, whence he emigrated to Chester County, Pennsylvania. Watsontown was named in his honor, and both he and his wife were buried in the cemetery there. He owned 1,000 acres of land at that place, and was one of the leading men of the community.
