He spent the larger part of his life on the home farm. His father did all the remodeling of the buildings, which were substantial and comfortable. He had about fifty acres yet in valuable timber. He was a stockholder in the C. & C. Telephone Company and was a member of Kerrmoor Grange. He was one of the active Republicans of Ferguson Township.
