He came [from Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, to Centre County?] about the year 1811 and purchased a farm later owned by Jacob Shultz, and once known as the Smull farm, near Rebersburg. Later he purchased a farm near Wolf's Mill, later belonging to Henry Corman.
