General Notes: Husband - Adam Noah Corman


He received a common school education and at the age of nineteen became a teacher in the public schools, which profession he followed for eleven years. In 1884 he became a tiller of the soil, but retired to a quiet, private life in 1903. He generally voted the Democratic ticket. He conducted the choir in Reformed church, and Mrs. Corman served as organist, each for a period of 33 years or more.
