General Notes: Husband - Joseph Corbett
For thirty years he was in the service of the New York and Cleveland Mining Company in the capacity of mine boss, and was later engaged in independent operations. He was the owner of a mine, the working of which he directed in winter, and during the summer season cultivated the farm owned by his daughter, Mary E. (Corbett) Fry. He was an experienced agriculturist, but in mining found his most profitable field of endeavor and had a wide knowledge of that industry.
